Being a student today involves a lot of digital submissions. Whether it's a hand-written math assignment or a scanned ID for a scholarship application, knowing how to create a clean PDF is a life skill.

Step 1: The 'Burst Mode' Photo

When taking photos of your homework, make sure your shadow isn't covering the paper. Use a bright light and take photos of all pages in sequence. If you have a multi-page assignment, try to keep the lighting consistent across all pages.

Step 2: Sorting and Naming

Before you convert, name your files numerically (Page 1, Page 2, etc.). This makes it much easier to drag them into the converter in the right order. There's nothing worse than a professor receiving a 10-page assignment where the pages are scrambled.

Step 3: Conversion and Proofreading

Use a tool like Kalumbering to merge them. Once the PDF is generated, open it and scroll through. Make sure the text is readable. If a page is blurry, go back and re-take that specific photo.
